Construction & Design Is Moving Forward

I'm back (with Riley, as always), and believe me, I've been working fiercely since my last post. As you can see by the last photo that I posted of the Ugly Brown Box, we're starting to turn the corner. In the not too distant future, Ocean View Contemporary (amazing ocean views (above) from the West) will be all that you see.

I've been working through the final exterior finishes with the architect, our drywall contractor, our steel subcontractor, and our general contractor to achieve perfection, and I believe we are almost there.

The combination of the warm white Santa Barbara stucco finish with the gunmetal grey metals and the IPE wood exterior trim are going to be stunning.

I just ordered the garage doors too, which are also gunmetal grey steal with frosted glass doors across the top.

I'm STILL working on the lighting... stay tuned on that - I'm almost done!

Marble, limestone and all of the solid finishes are all ordered and finalized.

Interior doors, I'll have those ordered next week.

I've been working on the closet systems and built in cabinets for all of the bedrooms. This is important for the space, because I want to take advantage of every square inch, and install product that I would want in my home.

We are on schedule to complete construction in November, 2016.

It's EXCITING to see everything that I've been working on start to come together!

And Riley's ready to go for a beach walk!
